The Planning & Design Module gives project managers, architects and engineers, a unique possibility to coordinate the design, plan/prepare the production, and at the end calculate the costs of the project.
This can be done from early stages to purchase and procurement of different building parts.
Early Stage Benefits

Building Information Model (BIM) from the start, the decision makers and investors can make better and well founded decisions, by simulation and testing the different alternatives.
Test the construction phase in the Module
The building is designed, and "test constructed" in the system, which will lay the foundation for the success of the whole project. After coordination is made between architects, engineers, and production planners, the information is extracted to different documents, such as drawings, bills of quantities and calculations that ensure purchase and procurement to the right quality and cost. Non value adding processes, such as errors, misunderstandings, additional cost requirements after changes, bad coordination etc. are minimized, which makes it possible to cut costs, keep the budget, limit the time, and secure expected quality.
Connect to exiting environments
The effort for designers to connect their design software to the module in Enterprixe.net is low, which makes the transition from traditional PC based single user 3D CAD system to a shared multi-user BIM server easy. We support AutoCad/ADT for architects (ArchiCad trough IFC). For structural engineers we offer a suitable AutoCad based 3D modelling application - EPX Structural. HVAC engineers can use i.e MagiCad, and any 3D CAD model can be imported in to Enterprixe.net. We also offer different productivity tools for 2D/3D drafting in AutoCad, called "Productivity Pack Series" (PP).
By publishing the model in our Enterprixe Web Viewer - project managers, contractors, and clients can review the model, and add/extract information to/from the model, without previous CAD experience .
